Counselling is a process of talking about and working through personal problems. Talking to a counsellor can help to address one’s problems in a positive way by helping to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies, and increase self-awareness.

For some people, just the process of telling their story and being listened to, is helpful. Anyone who is struggling with a personal concern can seek counselling. No issue is too big or too small to ask for help.

Whatever your concern, it is important to reach out for support.
Pivot Case Management operates from a strength-based practice. This means that whatever your cultural, gender or faith background, we will work with your world view as a basis to build your capacity as the agent of change.

Strength based practice encourages open communication and seeks for you to understand your value as we work together. Your safety and wellbeing are a priority, and we will also refer you to any appropriate additional services that you might need.

Pivot Case Management will work with anyone of any age as long as one is willing to talk.

This is your journey. You may only need one session to be reassured of what you already know. You may need ongoing support. You are in driver’s seat.

Pivot Case Management work with you and where you are at. You tell us what you need and what you are comfortable with.
Sessions usually go from 60 minutes to 75 minutes. Depending on the issue presented on the day.

Having a connection and building a rapport is important. To assist in breaking down any barriers Pivot Case Management is open to have that first appointment in café to ensure
you feel comfortable and that we are the service that can help with your needs.
